Ideally suited as leader material for fishing in freshwater and at the sea.

By redesigning the packaging, we could reduce the use of plastic material over 50% compared to the previous version.

Round braided line

With the Saltiga 12 Braid DAIWA offers an outstanding premium braided line.

The use of 12 strands here offers up to now unknown possibilities to improve the features of a braided line. Compared to standard braided lines, the abrasion resistance is improved up to 72% while the knot strength is considerably higher. The special surface coating made of silicone cares for decreased friction of up to 18% – thus, the casting distances, especially with lightweight lures, as well as noise generation at casting, are considerably improved.

The power of this line exceeds the breaking strength of conventional lines of the same diameter by up to 20%! This line, which is built up of 12 single strands, is manufactured in a complicated and time-consuming procedure in Japan according to highest quality standards.

The Saltiga 12 Braid is available in the color multi-color. The color changes every 5m. So it is easy to track the casting distance or fishing depth.

This wonderful little Crank of 25 mm and only 2 grams of weight, has a sinking structure and both bright and dark colors, favorites in the Trout Area. The painting is airbrushed to make them very realistic. It's small, but becomes enormously effective once in action. It is armed with a black nickeled hook, chemically sharpened, size 8, perfectly proportioned to the body. The split ring on the blade is attached to the wire which strengthens this bait in all the weak points, including the blade, making it a real fighter. Perfect for attacking predators in the shallowest waters of lakes and river margins.
