The XSH-B Spade End Barbless hook is the ultimate commercial pole bagging hook. It's mega strong and up to the rigorous demands powerful fish put hooks under. The super strong offset point reduces hook pulls and gives you more chnace of landing big carp. The XSH-B is ideal for pellets, meat and worms, basically any bait you can target big hungry carp these hooks can handle. This heavy wire gauge XSH-B hook is available in sizes 10-18.

The GPM-B Spade End Hook is an all round wide gape hook pattern that is perfect for a wide array of commercial fishing situations. They feature a PTFE coating which improves the hooks durability and sharpness. This dull PTFE coating also decreases the hooks visibility and reduces the chance of fishing being spooked by shiny hooks. We have spent a long time developing the perfect sized spade for our GPM-B hooks. They feature an oversized spade which means you can use thicker lines with confidence, especially when playing bigger fish. The GPM-B Spade End Hooks are purposely designed for pole fishing, but they can also be used on the waggler and feeder if required. They're ideal for baits like pellets, meat, corn, maggots, worms, pretty much any bait that you would need to use on a commercial fishery.

The Classic features a longer, finer straight point which is slightly more inclined towards the shank. This fine ultra-sharp point combined with the slick PTFE Tufflon coating and micro barb ensures excellent hook holds. The 13-degree in-turned eye provides excellent anti-eject properties and is a highly versatile pattern for a wide range of presentations. Over three years of development and the last two years spent thoroughly field testing prototype samples has culminated in the launch of a new range of hooks that we believe sets a new standard in strength and point durability. New manufacturing techniques including both high temperature and cryogenic tempering have produced significantly stronger hooks with more durable, long life points. Cryogenic tempering is a process used to improve the molecular structure of steel which in turn reduces stress and improves strength and wear resistance. It is used in many disciplines with Formula 1 engine parts being a classic example. Bench tests on initial samples proved to us that the new tempering processes combined with improved designs and heavy forging resulted in hooks that were 25-30% stronger than other Tufflon coated carp hooks in the same wire gauge. So rather than having to improve strength by simply increasing wire gauge, new manufacturing processes have allowed us to maintain optimum wire gauges for each size which allow for fine, ultra-sharp needle points which are now more durable than ever. Over an exhaustive two-year field testing period where the hooks were used by around 15 independent specialist carp anglers plus ESP consultants Terry Hearn, Kev Hewitt and Martin Bowler, feedback has been wholly positive from everyone. In fact, we have barely heard of a point turning over let alone a hook gaping out! Over those two years, a serious amount of big carp have been caught on the new hooks from a wide variety of waters and every angler who has used them came back wanting more!

The point length has been increased to mirror the hugely successful Trig and Chod Hammers resulting in incredibly sharp hooks straight out of the packet. On the two largest sizes 4 and 5 the wire gauge has been stepped up by 0.1mm for improved strength and the heavy forging helps accentuates this. However due to the point length to wire diameter ratio used the points are still long, fine and needle sharp. The twin tempering process of heat and cryogenic tempering ensures formidable strength and point durability with just the right degree of shock absorbing ‘spring’ – neither too soft nor too brittle. As per all the other Cryogen hooks in the range, these feature a slick PTFE Tuflon coating and micro barbs which ensure excellent penetration and secure hook holds. Enlarged eye diameters pro-rata across the range of sizes allow for thicker monofilaments to be used with the knotless knot. Available in sizes 4,5,6,7 & 8 in barbed and barbless.
