Sopot lake

Sopot dam lake is the fourth largest one in Bulgaria- 7 km long and 2 km wide. It is situated approximately 30 km north-west of the town of Troyan, near the village of Golyama Zhelyazna which is only 4 km of the village of Lesidren. The dam lake is a perfect place for relaxation, fishong, water sports and water tourism.  The region offers excellent conditions for camping as well as holiday homes, private villas and restaurants where you can taste fresh fish right from the dam lake or the river. There is a convenient transport to the dam.
